Our team is dedicated to providing professional, patient-centred physiotherapy care. Through expert assessment, hands-on treatment, and personalised rehabilitation, we help our patients recover from pain, restore movement, and return to the activities that matter most.
Brendan Sheridan
Brendan qualified from the University of Ulster with First-Class Honours and also holds a BSc (Hons) in Health and Performance Science from University College Dublin. He has extensive NHS and private practice experience, specialising in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy.
He is trained in Acupuncture, Pilates, the McKenzie Technique and the Brian Mulligan Concept, and teaches weekly APPI Pilates classes alongside his hands-on clinical work.
Outside the clinic, Brendan is a father, fitness enthusiast and animal enthusiast. He is passionate about helping patients regain confidence, movement and long-term function.

Dr. Jonathon Agnew
Jonny graduated from the University of Ulster with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy and also went on to complete his PhD, specialising in shoulder pain. He has experience in both private practice and musculoskeletal physiotherapy, treating sports injuries, nerve pain, headaches, migraines and vertigo.
Jonny has a strong interest in sports injuries and biomechanics, using a combination of hands-on treatment, soft tissue techniques and tailored exercise programmes to achieve lasting results.
Outside the clinic, he enjoys swimming and going to the gym, and is committed to staying up to date with the latest physiotherapy research and clinical practice.

Kaitlin Saunders
Kaitlin is a dedicated physiotherapist with a passion for helping people recover, move better and live without pain. With a warm, friendly manner and a practical, evidence based approach, she creates personalised treatment plans combining hands on therapy, tailored exercise and clear advice. Kaitlin supports patients of all ages, from athletes rehabbing injuries to older adults improving mobility, and is known for her communication, patience and focus on long term results.
Outside the clinic, Kaitlin competes nationally in Olympic weightlifting and is aiming to qualify for the Commonwealth Games, an achievement we are extremely proud of at Physiotherapy Associates.

Ben McKane
Friendly, attentive, and always ready to help, Ben brings a warm, approachable manner to his clinical care. He makes every interaction positive by listening carefully, explaining treatment and goals in clear, easy-to-understand terms, and tailoring plans to each patient’s needs. Ben guides patients through assessment, hands-on treatment, exercise programmes and progression, ensuring communication is supportive at every stage.
Outside of the clinic, Ben enjoys running, regular gym training, and playing rugby for Ballymena, reflecting his passion for sport, performance, and maintaining an active lifestyle.
Physiotherapist
Cecilia Timoney
With many years of experience as a physiotherapist, she has continually developed her clinical expertise through regular CPD courses and advanced training, ensuring her practice remains evidence-based and up to date.
She has completed her APPI Pilates Matwork training and teaches classes at the clinic, integrating Pilates principles into rehabilitation to improve strength, control and long-term injury prevention.
Outside the clinic, she is a mum to three girls and enjoys spending quality family time between Fermanagh and Donegal, making the most of the outdoors whenever possible.

Stephen Doherty
Stephen graduated from UUJ in 1991 and has 30+ years of physio and life experience. He has been working with outpatient and orthopaedic services for 26 of those 30 years . His post graduate training include Cyriax, Maitland, Mckenzie and Mulligan training and is also trained in acupuncture. Stephen remains highly involved in sports physiotherapy and has been involved with Irish league football with Ballyclare comrades, all Ireland league rugby with Dungannon and Judo due to family involvement.
His spare time - like most fathers involves taking his 2 teenagers to various sporting and school events. He enjoys bodyboarding and paddle boarding in his childhood home of Portrush.

Suzanne Brown
Suzanne is the Clinic Manager at Physiotherapy Associates and is often the first point of contact when you visit or call the clinic. She oversees the day-to-day running of the practice, manages the physiotherapists’ diaries, and assists with insurance queries, invoices and general enquiries to ensure everything operates smoothly and efficiently.
With over 20 years’ experience in administration and qualifications in business administration and advanced word processing, Suzanne brings organisation, professionalism and a welcoming approach to the clinic.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two children and her Cockapoo, Penny.
Clinic Manager
Stephen Kane
Stephen is a Physiotherapist with a strong background in strength and conditioning and sports massage. Before qualifying as a physiotherapist, he ran his own successful sports massage business, giving him a wealth of hands-on experience in treating and managing a wide range of injuries.
He has a particular interest in working with active individuals, including elite athletes, marathon runners and footballers, helping them optimise performance and recover effectively from injury.
Outside of the clinic, Stephen maintains an active lifestyle and has a keen interest in sport and fitness.
