Reflexology

Reflexology is a very relaxing and balancing holistic treatment involving application of pressure to the feet or hands with specific thumb, finger, and hand techniques. It is based on a system of zones and reflex areas that reflect an image of the body on the feet or hands to effect a physical change to other parts of the body.

We also offer reflexology for fertility, during maternity and to support cancer care.

ELITE FEET NI is a private chiropodist/podiatrist clinic with over 18 years’ experience in the private clinic sector. We offer a wide range of footcare services at competitive prices, designed to do away with the long waiting lists associated with the NHS.

Hand therapy

Hand therapy is the non-surgical management of hand disorders and injuries using physical methods such as exercise. Hand therapy brings together techniques of including joint mobilisations, stretching, active and resisted exercises to improve hand and upper limb movement and function, reduce swelling and deformity, and to delay or prevent the need for surgery, all overseen by our Occupational Therapist.

Conditions that can be treated using hand therapy are carpal tunnel syndrome, fractures and dislocations, Dupuytrens Disease following surgery, arthritic hand problems, sports injuries, sprains and strains, wound care and scar management, and pain and sensory conditions.

Custom-made splints can also me made during treatment sessions.

Sports massage

Sports massage is designed to assist in correcting problems and imbalances in soft tissue that are caused from repetitive and strenuous physical activity and trauma. The application of sports massage, prior to and after exercise serves to enhance treatment.

Sports massage can be used to aid recovery from injury or an event as part of a long term training programme. It can combine Swedish style massage with trigger point compression to reduce soreness and help enhance power, endurance and flexibility.

Benefits include faster recovery from micro damage and trauma in workout, increased flexibility and range of motion, relief from fatigue, reduced injury healing time, improved circulation, reduced muscle tension, cramping and inflammation.

My name is Ashleigh Duncan founder of AD Counselling and Wellness, we are a private counselling service offering mental health support for individuals, couples and children by the means of face to face or Telehealth counselling and therapy.

I am a fully qualified professional Counsellor, Psychotherapist and Holistic Practitioner with over 9 years of Counselling experience, I have a proven track record in helping clients successfully work through a range of difficult personal issues and situations, by offering a bespoke programme of counselling and personal healing, tailored to meet the personal needs of each individual client.

Together with Counselling and Psychotherapy, I am also qualified in a number of holistic and psychological therapies each of which I can incorporate into each session should it meet client need. My priority is to ensure clients receive compassion and support, with a professional approach. I implore a unique humanist approach that integrates one to one counselling with holistic therapies for a life changing journey of personal healing.
