I'm passionate about homeopathy and holistic health and am honoured to be able to help people on their journey back to health.
About seven years ago, I spent a night in the Royal Children’s Hospital with my son. He had been admitted with severe bronchiolitis and breathing difficulties. He was given a nebuliser in A&E and then admitted. Before we could leave the consultant came by to review him she said that given his escalating pattern of recurring chest infections that he will be asthmatic. She said he will always need an inhaler, that whenever he gets a cold it will travel to his chest and that he would find doing sports difficult. He was 13 months old at that time. We left the hospital, glad to be home and that was that for about a year. The pattern of chest infections and antibiotics continued until we decided that this was not sustainable and not in his long term best interests.
I researched and took him to see a homeopath in Belfast. She asked so much about him, more than any doctor had ever had. She learned about his personality, likes and dislikes, his sleep and so much more. She watched him play and interact with us. She chatted to him and observed how he responded to her.
She gave us his prescription and off we went. Shortly after, he developed his first ever temperature. She had forewarned us this may crop up and had given us remedies to deal with it. We weathered it well and the following day he was much improved. He continued to improve over time and the instances of sickness began to become less frequent and the intensity reduced also.
I was hooked.
I did an introductory course and then signed up to the four-year course at the Belfast School of Homeopathy. It’s a decision I’ve never regretted as homeopathy has enriched our lives immensely.
